Independent Dream Machine, the production company behind the film has decided to forge their own pathways in getting the film out to find its audience and they could use your help! This is why they have established this affiliate program. InSearchOf won the From Here To Awesome Discovery Film Festival, premiered at the '08 London Film Festival's Power of the Pixel, has played at a number of theaters, (They're still booking more), and is currently booking a college tour for '09. The film has been receiving favorable reviews and definitely strikes up conversation.
Items being sold are downloads and DVD's of the feature length film InSearchOf, t-shirts, posters, and other merchandise, all of which that you can receive a sales commission on.

Answer: The InSearchOf DIY/DIWO Affiliate Distribution program is for webmasters of small, medium, and large sites and individuals who are active on the internet by either maintaining their own sites, blogging or those who use social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, or Twitter. We want to pay you when you refer new customers to our site. We'll provide you with graphics, text links, and data feeds which you can post on your sites. When a visitor clicks-through and makes a purchase at http://store.idreammachine.com, we'll pay you a commission based on the net shipped sale (this is the total product purchase amount, not including tax and shipping). It's that simple. You’ll receive your commissions each month.

Once you sign up for our program, you'll be taken to JRox's site where you'll create your own personal and secure account. Here you can log in at any time to get our graphics and links, find out about commissions earned and even learn about how many impressions each of your links has received.

Answer: You will have access to a wide variety of graphics and text links after signing up for our program. You are welcome to use any of the graphics and text links provided. You can even mash up our graphics and text to create your own advertisements as long as they are truthful and in the DIY and DIWO spirit!
Question: What if I have more than one web site?
Answer: We certainly recommend adding our links to all of your web sites. In fact, we encourage it! Tracking will still take place through JRox. All of your sites will be listed under your one account.
Question: How do I check the status of my account?
Answer: Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email notification welcoming you to our program. This will include your password, so make sure to make a note of it. To see your account status, log in to http://store.idreammachine.com/affiliates. Once logged in, you can see your account balance and get instant site statistics under the traffic log and affiliate reports.
Question: When do I get paid?
Answer: Once you join our program, you'll be able to log into your account at http://store.idreammachine.com/affiliates and go to the area titled "Commissions". Here you can see how much you've earned. Earnings are automatically sent out every month via check to all Affiliates. There are no invoices to send and no data to track-- all payments are taken care of by Independent Dream Machine and JRox. For those affiliates earning over $600 in a year, 1099's will be issued for tax reporting purposes.
Question: If someone buys something at store.idreammachine.com from a link on my site, will I get a commission when they come back to store.idreammachine.com on their own and make a purchase?
Answer: You earn commission on all shipped sales that take place up to 30 days after you send someone to http://store.idreammachine.com - as long as yours was the last affiliate link clicked. For example, if a customer visits your site and clicks on our banner ad and doesn't buy anything right away, but purchases an item at http://store.idreammachine.com up to 30 days later, you get credited for the sale.
Question: Are there any restrictions?
Answer: We'd like everyone to promote InSearchOf. However, there are cases where we can not allow certain sites to participate in our Affiliate program. We will evaluate your application in good faith and will notify you of your acceptance or rejection. We may reject your application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that your site is unsuitable for the program.
Unsuitable sites include those that:
* Promote violence
* Promote illegal activities
* Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
* Include "idreammachine" "insearchofmovie" "isomovie" or variations or misspellings thereof in their domain names
* Otherwise violate intellectual property rights
If we reject your application, you are welcome to reapply to the program at any time. You should also note that if we accept your application and your site is thereafter determined, at our sole discretion, to be unsuitable for the program, we may terminate this agreement.
Question: Do I need to sign any kind of agreement?
Answer: There is nothing for you to sign but you must agree to the terms of our agreement before joining our program - it's part of the registration process.
